PowerShell Class 2 - PowerGUI Pro

This course is intended for both future and current users and developers.

Prerequisite: PowerShell Class 1 – Introduction to PowerShell 2.0

This class utilizes LeadThem Consulting’s virtual training center (VTC). Each student taking the course will be assigned their own:

• Windows 2008 Server R2 with Exchange 2007 already installed and running and IIS running
• Separate 2008 R2 Windows Domain Controller for an individual, fully operational domain
• Windows 7 workstation

Every student using the LTC virtual lab gets the chance to use the Production Class Servers to build their personal environment, experimenting with PowerShell in a “real-life” situation. By using the tool in this type of environment, students can learn by “doing” rather than “watching”, as well as test their ideas and plans in a safe, applicable environment.

This LTC PowerShell training class is intended for current developers and users who have an understanding of basic group and user and group administration, domain structure, and delegation of rights. After completing this class, the student should be able to:

• Use PowerGUI and PowerGUI Pro MobileShell
• Use PowerGUI with Admin Console
• Create and work with PowerPacks
• Work with PowerGUI Script Editor
• Install, configure and work with MobileShell

This is a three hour virtual training center course provided in one half-day session that includes lecture, lab, and testing. This course is offered as a private, web-based class utilizing LTC’s VTC for up to ten students from your organization, or as a public course.
