How do I get started?

- We will then schedule a Readiness call, followed by the Micro Offering.
What’s next?
- Readiness Call:
- Determine the size server needed for the Foglight Management Server
- Create and distribute a detailed preparation list
- Create and distribute an efficient Micro Project Plan
- Foglight Installation & Configuration:
- During your planned WebEx session, our Quest-Certified Foglight Expert will work directly with the Foglight Administrator to install and configure Foglight Management Server (FMS) and Foglight Oracle Cartridge.
- Once the FMS and Oracle Cartridge have been installed and configured, any remaining Foglight consulting time will be utilized for rule configuration, knowledge transfer, and/or site specific documentation, determined by the client’s goals.
- What if additional time is needed?
- Some clients want further knowledge transfer while others need our assistance with the preparation work. No matter what you need the extra time for, we can accommodate through our online ordering system.
- Time Allocation
- Preperation (Readiness Call, Preparation List created, Micro Project Plan created): 2.5 Hours
- Foglight Installation and Configuration (Ensure preparation is completed, Install and Configure FMS, Install and Configure Oracle Cartridge): 17.5 Hours
- Time Permitting: Knowledge Transfer, Rules setup, Site-specific documentation
- Total Time: 2.5 Days (20 hours)
Prerequisites and Assumptions
- Ensure that all software and hardware requirements have been met for your current Foglight release.
- Provide LTC consultants with sufficient and appropriate access to systems, servers, and technical resources as needed.
- Provide a project team member with appropriate technical expertise, business expertise, and power to make authorized decisions to ensure project success.
